A quick catch-up post and some new galaxy nails...

Hello everyone! I am back after the busiest week! Last Saturday was my first wedding anniversary and my lovely hubby surprised me with a party. We had a live band play in our garden, barbecue, loads of friends over and plenty to drink! I only had Sunday to recover though as on Monday we then went to Cardiff for a couple of days!  I have had the best time, but no nail time! Luckily I painted and photographed my nails on Saturday morning and I am sharing those today :)

When I first started doing nail art, galaxy nails were the ones I wanted to try the most! I used to do them so often and then realized the other day that it had been ages!

I started with a base of LA Colors Black Velvet and waited for that to completely dry. I then sponged on LA Colors French White, Rimmel Sunshine, Barry M Gelly Mango, Jessica Electric Teal and LA Colors Wired. I added a coat of Sally Hansen Twinkle Twinkle and topped with Seche Vite to finish. Here are the pics:

I'm glad I put some effort into these nails as I've had them on for a long time and I'm not bored of them yet! I'm home now though and heading to a festival this weekend, so its definitely time for a change :)
