I was looking for inspiration mid-barbecue yesterday afternoon (that's when you know you're a little bit too nail obsessed...) and there seemed to be a lot of butterflies out and about. So I thought I'd try and create an abstract based on the pattern you see within a butterfly wing, like this:
So, I painted the lines on with a striping brush using LA Colors Black Velvet, and then filled in the sections with LA Colors French White and Black Velvet, Barry M Gelly Paints Blood Orange and Color Club Sheer Disguise. I then added Color Club Sex Symbol (silver glitter) over one or two grey sections, and Art of Seduction (red glitter) over the red. Here's the finished set:
I like how these turned out! I kind of changed direction a little from the original butterfly effect, but I think you can still see where the inspiration came from!
Only one more day left using these May colours then it's all change again! I thought I was going to be really stuck with these colour options but its worked out really well! Don't forget to check out all the other awesome nails using the link below! :)
Stunning! You just amaze me and that's all there is to say about this! haha
