I didn't use a base (other than Rejuvacote!), but then freehanded sections of red (Ciate Mistress), green (Sinful Colors Exotic Green) and gold (LA Colors Solar Gold) on to each nail, and then carefully went over those section with glitters from the Color Club Glitter Vixen collection (Gold - Sultry Diva, Red - Art of Seduction and Green - Object of Envy). I finished with two coats of Seche Vite to smooth out the glitter and here's the finished result :)
So there is number 5! I can't believe how quickly this challenge is moving! I love this mani, but as with all glitter bomb manis, I'm so not looking forward to taking it off :/
Take a look at the links below to check out all the other fantastic festive manis, and I will be back in a couple of days with a Bells themed mani (now there's a challenge!)...
awh this is so pretty and festive! Love it well done :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn :)
DeleteAwesome! And I hear you on taking off glitter polish.
ReplyDeleteIts my pet hate. But I just can't stop wearing it!!! ;D
DeleteOhh this is fun! Did you free hand the designs with a nail art brush or just use the polish brush? I love funky takes on a french manicure and that one is no exception.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I freehanded the outlines with a striping brush, filled them in with the polish brush and used the striping brush again to tidy up the edges :)
DeleteOooh I like these! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma!
DeleteThis looks awesome! I love how they're all different and that green is awesome!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I'd love to see it if you do :D
DeleteI absolutely love this abstract design. :) You could definitely wear this out and about, without it being too "in your face".
