The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents "Your Favourite Colour" #2

Hello everyone! Today I have for you my second NCC mani for November. Our theme for this month is "Your favourite colour". For this mani, I decided to go with the colour that started my polish obsession - purple! I started hoarding purples when I was a teenager, and although other colours (mostly blues and turquoises!), have started to catch up, I still have a ridiculous amount of purple, so thought I should include at least a few of my favourite here.

For some random reason I also decided that I wanted to try a brickwork effect (yes, in purple), so that explains the design. Sort of... ;)

I started with a base of Sally Hansen Wet Cement (can't have bricks without cement, right?), and then freehanded "brick-esque" shapes with a small detail brush using Barry M Gelly Prickly Pear and Blackberry, China Glaze Spontaneous, Model's Own Lilac Dream and Color Club Pucci-licious.

I'm not 100% how well it worked, but its different and its kind of cute. Scarlett said it reminded her of a castle wall from a princess cartoon so I'll take that and run with it :)

Follow the links below to see all the other great NCC November manis and I will be back with my third effort soon :)
