33 Day Challenge Day 25 - A new technique!

Hello again lovelies! I hope that you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. Its all been a bit mad here - we've been redecorating, it was my Dad's birthday (and Scarlett's half birthday, which we're not allowed to forget either!) and today I have an interview for a job that I really, really want so I've been nervous all weekend too! If you have any spare positive thoughts this morning, I'd really appreciate you sending them my way :)

So the prompt for today is to try a new technique. I had a bit of difficulty choosing something for this as I tend to try things as soon as I see them. But luckily there was one that I managed to hold on to long enough through a combination of laziness and willpower and that is the waterfall technique. I googled a ton of examples, picked some colours and went to work!

I started with a base of LA Colors Sand Storm and once that was dry, added the waterfall lines with a striping brush using Barry M Gelly Papaya, Greenberry and Key Lime. I then added a  little LA Colors Metallic Silver to give it a little something extra and finished with Seche Vite.

I'm very happy with how these turned out as a first attempt! Luckily it wasn't as hard as I anticipated. I like the colours too, so overall feeling pretty pleased with myself today :)

Don't forget to check out all the other new techniques being shown off below (I'm hoping to find some more things to try as I look through them all), and I will be back with a mani that features something form my Inspiration board/Pinterest on Wednesday :)

    1. Thank you! The technique is a lot easier than I though it would be (as long as you have a very fine striping brush!). Make sure you let me see if you try it out :)
