33 Day Challenge Day 30 - A mani featuring the same pattern in various colours

Hello again everyone! We have reached the "thirties" in the 33 Day Challenge - yay us! :p The prompt for today was to create a mani featuring the same pattern in various colours. This was a bit of a tricky one for me as I'vve done a lot of manis like this and really didn't want to repeat something I've already done, so that ruled out dots, stripes, flowers, zebra, leopard etc... Eek!

However, all was not lost! I did spot a design that I have done once before which I always intended to do again with different colours, and this gave me the perfect opportunity.

On a French White base, I painted sections of Black Velvet and then added two tones of a colour to each nail. (Little finger has LA Colors Wisteria and Edgy, Ring finger - Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau and Barry M Gelly Blue Grape, Middle finger - Barry M Gelly Key Lime and Sinful Colors Exotic Green, Index finger - Color Club Psychedelic Scene and LA Colors Hottie and Thumb - Color Club She's Sooo Glam and Jessica Blushing Princess. I then dotted the edges of the black sections to create the "frill" effect and finished with Seche Vite.

I love this quirky little pattern. It looks detailed but is so simple and quick to do! I'm also glad I got to try so many colour ways all at once :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I'll be back on Monday with a mani that features my 3 favourite polishes. Only three?!? ;)
