What to wear for a meeting in Windsor? Windsor Castle! :)

Hello everyone! For thise of you expecting my GOT polish challenge mani, I'm afraid I'm having to save that for another day. I'm still ill and can't paint for half the time that I normally can as the fumes are really getting to me (even after five minutes!).

However, I have an important meeting tomorrow and I obviously had to paint my nails (subtle had to be the way forward here though!), so I thought I'd share that with you. Its also an opportunity to show you how my nubs are slowly (soooo slowly, even with all the usual products that speed them up) growing out.

As my meeting is in Windsor, I picked Jessica Windsor Castle as my main colour and added an accent nail with LA Colors Lilac Frost as the base, along with some roses painted with LA Colors Wisteria, French White, Ciate Mojito, Sinful Colors Exotic Green and a little more Windsor Castle.

The nubs are taking their time, but I'm not too bothered about them being seen in public again now :) I'll be back tomorrow with my last NCC mani for the month, and hopefully my GOT dots mani too if I can face the fumes!

Sam xx

  1. Your nails are gorgeous that length! You have nothing to worry about. And the mani is super cute - subtle, but in no way boring! Hope the meeting goes well!

    1. Thanks Lindsay! I'm trying to get used to having them that little bit shorter, but my brain doesn't seem willing to accept this as the norm! :)

  2. These nails are beautiful, the flowers are great, and I like your nubs! I just had to file mine down after a break and they're even shorter than yours!

    1. Thanks Marisa! They've been growing out since just after New Year - the nails on the non famous hand have all broken again already so I'm trying to be sooooo careful with my right! :)

  3. It's like we all had breaks at the same time. We should make a NewYearsNubby club! Seriously though, that color is so rich and the roses are gorgeous. Hope you're feeling better soon!

    1. Thanks Alicia! Its probably something to do with the ridiculous amount of challenges and festive manis we all put together in December - nail people problems, eh?! ;)

  4. Those are nubs? In what nail length universe do you live ;). In my book nubs have no free edge at all. Your nails look gorgeous and I do love that purple!

    1. For me they're pretty nubby at the moment! Plus I woke up this morning and immediately sheared my index nail so I'm down to no free edge there again... On the upside, I have plenty of odd false nails to cover that one up lol! :)
