Crumpet's Nail Tarts 33DC Day 2 - Your most used colour polish!

Hello everyone! A post three days running is a rare thing for me these days but I've done it - yay for me! I have a lot of personal stuff rumbling on in the background at the moment and I may or may not explain myself in a separate post at some point, but for now I'm focusing on keeping busy and enjoying these challenges!

Today's prompt for the 33DC is "Your most used colour polish". This was a no brainer for me as its fairly well documented that my favourite polish of all time is Jessica Ruffled Bottoms from their Burlesque collection from a couple of years back. I am now on my third bottle of this particular colour, so I think I can safely say that apart from basic colours such as black and white, tis is my most used!!! The tricky bit was trying to find a new way of working it into some nail art, but still keep it prominent.

I opted to make it my base, so I applied two coats of Ruffled Bottoms. I then added some vinework over the top using LA Colors Solar Gold and finished with a coat of Seche Vite.

[DISCLAIMER!!! Due to being offered a very exciting, but time critical nail project (can't reveal any more than that at the mo!), I had to paint and photograph these late last night in artificial light. Please excuse the poor paint job and photos, but you can get where I was going. I will redo these time permitting at some point during the challenge].

This isn't my usual style, but I thought the gold suited the regal purple and am quite pleased with the design idea, of not the execution!l!

The next 33DC post will be on Friday, when I will have a tape mani for you. In the meantime, follow the InLinkz below to see the huge variety of favourite polishes on show today :)
