Tri Polish Challenge - June Day 3. Triangular Mosaic Nails

Hello again lovely readers! Over half way through this month's Tri Polish Challenge and I was totally stuck for inspiration. I love the colours I chose, but coming up with 4 distinct ideas has not been as easy with these as I found it in previous months!

I have been using Ciate Cutie Pie as my pink, Jessica Imperial Rouge as my red, and Jessica Ruffled Bottoms for my purple.

In the end I settled on doing some mosaic style nails, but wanted to try something different, so I started with Cutie Pie to give me a baby pink base, and then started painting triangles with a striping brush using the red and purple, as well as LA Colors Solar Gold. I was going to tape it all for extra neatness, but I'd already painted the base colour and didn't want to ruin that by prepping the tape, so I decided to go freehand! Luckily, I think it turned out ok  - here are the pictures :)

I love it when I have absolutely no idea to start but then manage to come up with something I really like! I'm definitely going to be trying this out with some other colours. 

So, one more design for the June Tri Polish challenge will be posted on Thursday. I will be so glad to see the back of these colours - feeling the need to go super bright for July :D
