Tri Polish Challenge - June Day 1

Hello again! Its good to be back and with the first part of the June installment of the Tri Polish Challenge :) The colours this month are red, pink and purple and I chose Jessica Imperial Rouge and Ruffled Bottoms for my red and purple, and Ciate Cutie Pie for my pink. The other allowable colours are black, white, silver, gold and glitter toppers.

I started with a base of Cutie Pie which is a real baby bubblegum pink. Its such a pretty colour but needs somewhere between 3 and 4 coats to get non streaky coverage... I then added sections of the Imperial Rouge and Ruffled Bottoms (one of my favourite ever polishes!) using a striping brush and added a gold outline using LA Colors Solar Gold. I smoothed it all out with a generous coat of Seche Vite.

I added a flash picture at the end to show how rich these colours are - I love them!!! Actually, I'm totally in love with these nails and I'm gutted they have to come off pretty much straight away. Definitely starting to feel like I'm getting my mojo back though! See you on Thursday and in the meantime follow the links below to check out everyone else's fabulous Tri Polish nails :)

  5. I just can't believe how they came out! Absolutely stunning. They almost have a water marble effect to them, but they look so smooth and elegant. Nice work!

  7. Wow! Such great responses! Thank you so much everyone - I appreciate it. I loved these nails too, but I figured they were a bit special when my husband (who is so over the whole nail thing now!) noticed them and loved them too! :)
