NCC Technique Month #2 - Some midweek bling!

Hello everyone! I'm back with my second mani for the Nail Challenge Collaborative's Technique month! I decided to do some 3d nails as although I love looking at them, I actually can't remotely be bothered to deal with the aggravation that comes along with having them!

A little while ago, I bought several little plastic wheels filled with rhinestones and crystals of all shapes, colours and sizes, so I tipped loads on to my desk (not something I would recommend, but I was feeling reckless lol) and started playing with patterns.

I painted my nails with two coats of Barry M Navy (I adore this colour, really must use it more often!), then I painted one nail at a time with a coat of Seche Vite and started adding the crystals using an orange stick with a spot of blu tack (very technical tools used for this mani) ;)

Here come the photos:

I liked these enough that I wore them to do the school run, but I drew the line at preparing dinner! The smaller crystals would've been fine for a longer time, but the large teardrops were just too impractical. Nevermind, I'll just have to hire a housekeeper, chef, driver etc and then I can have these on all the time! :)
