Crumpet's Nail Tarts Tri Polish Challenge - May Day 2

Hello again and Happy Thursday! :)  Day 2 of the May part of the Tri Polish challenge (I'm sure there's a more succinct way of putting it, but I'm not there today...)

I'm using all of my three colours today  - the three I'm working with for the month are Color Club Sheer Disguise, Models Own Feeling Blue and Barry M Gelly Paints Blood Orange, plus black (LA Colors Black Velvet) and white (Models Own Snow White).

Describing how this design came together will give you slightly more insight into how my brain works than I'm comfortable with, but its part of the deal, so... ;)

I started with the white base, then added red and blue to the corners. I was going to outline these and be done with it, until I saw how much like the Pepsi logo it looked (subliminal programming at its finest!!!).
So I added in some grey in the middle, and pretty randomly added dots all over the place. Outlined everything in black with a striping brush, and then forced myself to leave it the f*** alone...

So, I guess its a "brand aware", abstract tribal mani?!? Its different, but eye catching! Its also reaffirmed the fact that I need to have a clear game plan before I sit down to do these challenge nails, or all hell breaks loose! :)

I'll be back next week with the third and fourth manis for the May installment - be sure to check out everyone else's awesome nails by following the links below!!!
