33DC #8 - Chevrons!

Hello everyone! Today has been one of those days that you chalk up to experience. I did my Chevron mani a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of getting snowed under with various challenge obligations. Pictures were taken, edited and watermarked and set aside for me to write the post today. So today comes around, and where are these photos? Nowhere to be seen, that's where! I have literally turned my computer inside out looking for them, but no luck. So in my determination to keep on track with the 33DC, I painted my chevron nails first thing this morning. Again.

I started with a base of LA Colors Metallic Silver and then painted on the chevrons with a striping brush using LA Colors Wisteria and Barry M Gelly Blackberry. I finished, as always, with Seche Vite. Here are the photos:

I suppose if I'm going to take a positive away from this, its that I had never done a proper Chevron mani before, and now I've done two! I think I'll definitely be doing it again though, as it was a lot simpler than I thought and I'm hoping that I can get the lines sharper next time around :)

Next up in the 33DC is Indian nails. I have some ideas in mind, now just to try and get them from the inside of my head on to my nails...
